TODAY'S MENU {Meat & Potatoes}

From my experience, there are two types of guys out there:

1. The Meat & Potatoes guy
2. Every other guy

Despite these (too often true) stereotypes, for the month of November, (or should I say Movember), whatever edible fare men may have found on their plates is irrelevant. Guys all around the world were brought together by a force so much bigger then them, a force that is embraced and not questioned, a force that unites not divides...yes, I'm speaking of the one, the only, moustache!

For the last 30 days men everywhere raised money and awareness for Prostate Cancer. Since they had so much fun doing it I thought I would keep it going with a poll in honour of my favourite leading moustache men!

TODAY'S MENU {Red Licorice}

You may have read the word "collect" in some of my past posts...I collect many things - and I use the term "collect" loosely (it's more of a casual, shopping addiction kind of collection if you will).

In any case, scarves are one of those favourite, can't-live-without items that never fail to find their way into my closet (or draped elegantly around my neck). Although November has graced us with some pretty fabulous weather, one must prepare accordingly for the blistering cold, upcoming snowstorms, and impromptu polaroids.

Here is what I'm draping around my neck (or wish I was) this winter.

This is definitely my warmest (and not to mention longest) scarf! The wool is super soft and deep pockets keep my hands warm during those brisk walks. My inspiration? Carrie Bradshaw via Sex and the City of course!

This Louis Vuitton Graffiti Monogram scarf is perfect for anyone who appreciates a classic with a twist. I was recently given one as a gift and cannot stop caressing it, the cashmere feels like heaven next to my skin!

Try something a little daring and make a scarf part of your outfit!

Another classic, Hermes scarves never fail to look magnificent! As if cashmere and silk weren't enough, each scarf comes with this super cute deck of cards, complete with endless tying illustrations!

My new favourite, the Hat-Scarf! Why not kill two birds with one stone while looking incredibly chic?

TODAY'S MENU {Bourbon Cocktail}

{Have a Napkin}
For as long as I can remember my Grandmother (better known as Grams) has been collecting paper napkins. She places them neatly around the Bridge table when her girlfriends come over, saves them for our birthday dinners, lays them on the bathroom counter, and wherever else she can find a use for them.
After seeing them around her house for so many years, they've become a staple on my list and I love to buy them as gifts/souvenirs, especially when I travel. The holiday season is upon us, so keep your eyes open for those cute little packages that you just cant resist! Save them for a special occasion if you have to, but a little goes a long way!

TODAY'S MENU {Candied Peanuts}

{Take Flight}
From the time I was a little girl I have loved the excitement of flying (it is definitely my super power of choice). As I've gotten older I've begun to think of the airport as one of the most romantic places you can find yourself. Whether backpacking Europe, moving across the country or visiting a loved one, there is always a story that goes along with a boarding pass.

My very own airport extension, one of my favourite French alternative rock bands, Phoenix.

TODAY'S MENU {Personalized Cookie}

{The Stamp of Approval}
I used to make fun of people who collected stamps, but lately I find myself drawn to any sort of personalized branding technique. From wax seals to irons, maybe it's the sense of pride I get when I see my name on a shiny gold badge, or perhaps it's just the mark of a good idea!

{Shoot from the Hip}
Lomograpghy, the photographic cultural phenomenon that brought film back, this time with analogue amplification. The creative visionary manipulates raw images to enhance graininess, shadows, saturation and contrast. Don't think, just shoot!
